Volunteer Options

Ways to help year-round

Whether you are available for one day or one season, there is a practical role that can make a meaningful difference.

April 11

Plant Day in April

You do not need a green thumb to join Plant Day. Crops support veteran meals, direct giving to military families, and farm-stay fundraising through local sales. Bring a positive attitude and expect to leave with a little soil under your fingernails.

Every Tuesday and Thursday

Supporting Our Hard Working Livestock and Chickens

Sustainable agriculture depends on steady livestock and free-range chicken care. Tasks include cleaning living areas, feeding, and watering. This is a great family volunteer day.

December 2

Prep for Winter on the Farm

As temperatures drop, our livestock, chickens, and honeybees need extra support. Help winterize hives, animal shelters, and key farm equipment.

Dates to be determined

Tiny Homes for Veterans

Bring your energy and resilience to help build tiny getaway homes for veterans. We welcome support across construction, setup, and finishing tasks.

Last weekend of November and first two weekends of December

Joy of Giving

Support families during our holiday season by helping carry trees to vehicles, serving hot chocolate, and assisting with outdoor activities.

Dates to be determined

Harvest Volunteer Day

Join us during harvest windows across the growing season. Volunteers help pick fruit and vegetables for mission use and community distribution.

October 7

Shape the Trail

Our trails are one of the most meaningful attractions for veterans and families. Help build new paths and maintain existing routes so all generations can learn, heal, and grow resilience together. This service day combines hands-on work with a grounding outdoor experience.

First Thursday of each month

Volunteer Cleanup Day

Join a focused cleanup effort to keep the farm stay beautiful, safe, and welcoming for every future guest.

Each weekend of October

Fall Festival Giving

Fall Festival Giving runs every weekend in October for the full community. Volunteers support activities, traffic flow, and safety while helping advance the Warrior Rendezvous mission.
